K11 ECOAST, a massive cultural-retail complex is planned for the Shenzhen waterfront, home to one of the country’s rapidly growing luxury regions. Dubbed K11 ECOAST, it will be located in Prince Bay in Shenzhen’s Nanshan district. Covering a footprint of 228,500 square meters (over 2.4 million square feet), the project will introduce an ‘Art Mall,’ a multi-purpose art space HACC, the K11 ATELIER office building, and a landscaped waterfront Promenade. The ambitious retail and cultural space in China will be designed by an architecture team including OMA, David Chipperfield Architects, and Sou Fujimoto.

 

K11 ECOAST is scheduled to open in late 2024.
